Muskogee is our own process management-software based on a Linux cluster we developed to enter data from scanned images. Of course, Muskogee can be attached to other platforms like MS Windows and also on various IT-landscapes.The customers' data is encrypted and transferred by an SSH-connection to a Firewall-protected S-FTP-Server. The decoded images are disconnected from the server after the transfer is completed and then copied by the external data-containing-device to the physical autonomic internal network. The production environment has no access to the Internet. Only programs that have to do with data processing are allowed at the workplaces. After saving the data on the main file servers we check the quantity and the quality of the processed images and the recorded statistics. According to the task and the type of images, they go through different OCR-Engines.
Our educated employees work with Muskogee most efficiently by a clearly defined, routine working process. Following an automated identifying phase when the first quality-checks are ready, statistics are drawn. The next step is to go through another quality-check of the processed data, then a second processing is done to controll the quality and also the statistics analysis. At this phase the system has already got enough data to offer the employee an optimally prepared masc for data entering. Only at this stage the intensive part of the prelimminary process begins.
As a third criterion of quality, the generated data is checked again by our qualified employees comparing it to the information that we already have. In the last two phases data processing and the final quality-check can be done iteratively according to your quality requirements. After the expected quality is achieved, the generated data is generalized, including the statistics charts, and coded for the handeling. The data is located in our secure-FTP-server only until the transfer is in process. After the transfer to the customer is completed and a confirmation that the images have been uploaded as legible is recieved, the data is deleted from our server.
